Envisions Institute of Development, EID is a group of professionals who have joined together to bring to the development sector the best mix of the corporate sector’s task orientation and social sector’s soul of people orientation.
Established in 2013, EID is a premier Knowledge Management, Research, and Communications Company registered as a not-for-profit organization under Section 25 of the Indian Companies Act, 1956 (now Section 8 of the Indian Companies Act 2013).

Dr Tushar Waghmare - USA
Dr. Tushar Waghmare is a senior executive with 26+ years of experience in consumer and commercial finance, having worked with organizations such as GE Capital, HSBC, Citibank, Genpact, and Grant Thornton. He holds qualifications in Chemical Technology, Management Studies, Business Finance, and a PhD in Economics from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research. His expertise includes credit risk, IFRS9, CECL, Basel regulations, BSA/AML, predictive modeling, AI-driven analytics, model validation, audits, and financial compliance.
He has led the development and validation of risk and fraud detection models, created innovative OFAC screening solutions using Python, and contributed to generating over $5 million in business growth.
Rick Benson - CANADA
Experienced former: Grief Counsellor, Spiritual Health Practioner, Author and Public Speaker, with a demonstrated history of working in health, wellness and education. Skilled in Grief Loss and Life Transition Counselling, Crisis Intervention, Palliative Care and Public Speaking. Masters of Arts (M.A.) in Pastoral Counselling from St. Paul-University of Ottawa, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) focused in Social Sciences and Counselling from The University of Calgary and a B.A. from St. Francis Xavier University.
Emem Akpan - NIGERIA
A Business Development and Management Consultant with 20+ years of experience across development sectors. As Director of Projects at Quick Projects Limited and a pioneer of Nigeria’s World Bank/IFC STEP BDS initiative, he has led projects for organizations like the World Bank, USAID, and UNDP, specializing in enterprise development and project management.
Dr Mustapha Guenaou, Algeria
is a Professor and researcher in the social sciences, with doctoral qualifications in Social Sciences from Algeria and Sociology from France. His academic and professional work spans socio-anthropology, economics, history, and cultural studies.
As a teacher-researcher he was associated with the Centre de Recherche en Anthropologie Sociale et Culturelle (CRASC), Oran. He has also been affiliated with several academic, cultural, and scientific networks in Algeria, France, Luxembourg, Italy, and other international platforms.
He has served in several positions as Program Director for Information and Communication Technologies, Chair of the Pedagogical Coordination Committee and Member of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities
His contributions include extensive participation in conferences, scientific articles, books, dictionaries, cultural exhibitions, seminars, and initiatives related to traditional arts and crafts. With a strong interdisciplinary background and long-standing engagement in research, culture, and community knowledge systems, Dr. Guenaou brings valuable academic and advisory expertise to the board.
T K Manoj Kumar, IAS India
A retired Indian Administrative Service officer, he has held numerous positions including District Collector, Director, Secretary, Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, and Commissioner. His extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience across various government departments. His most recent role was Special Secretary in the Food- Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Department.
A contemporary artist and illustrator, Manoj Kumar hase moved from the corridors of power to the canvas of imagination. T.K. Manoj Kumar is a rare artist who brings the discipline of governance and the soul of a poet into every stroke.
